You can share your products, collections and menu while speaking to customers.
To share a product in live chat
Click on the customer from conversations list on the left side and then click on "Actions" tab on the right panel of the live chat dashboard.
Once you click on the actions tab, you'd see the following options. Click on "Share product".
Imp: You can only share products with customers, who have messaged your business in the last 24 hours. If the selected conversation didn't get a response from the customer in the last 24 hours, then none of the above options will be available under the Actions tab.
Select the products you want to share with customer and then click "Share to chat" button in the bottom:
Tip: You can also search a product by typing it in the search bar at the top of the products list.
Once you click "Share to Chat", you will get a prompt like below to confirm the action. Click "Yes"
Note: Once you share a product to the chat, using the above steps its stops any automation that the customer might be currently interacting with and instead, starts a new automation to guide the customer through the purchase and checkout for the products you just shared.
If you have shared multiple products, then it creates a dynamic collection and the customer can add multiple products to their cart.
Imp: The products details, cards and buttons are shown same in the live chat as it would appear to the customer. However you or any other team member who's able to view this conversation will not be able to click the buttons shown in the chat thread.
Tip: If you want to just share product image and not initiate the self-checkout flow for the product, collection or menu, then you can simply upload and attach the image by clicking the attach icon at the bottom of the compose message bar.
