You can share your products, collections and menu while speaking to customers.
To share a collection in live chat
Click on the customer from conversations list on the left side and then click on "Actions" tab on the right side of the live chat page.
Once you click on the actions tab, you'd see the following options. Click on "Share collection".
Imp: You can only share collections with customers, who have messaged your business in the last 24 hours. If the selected conversation didn't get a response from the customer in the last 24 hours, then none of the above options will be available under the Actions tab.
Hover to the collection you want to share with customer and then click "Share" button that appears next to it.
Note: Unlike products, you can only share 1 collection in the chat.
Tip: You can also search a collection by typing it in the search bar at the top of the collection list.
Once you click "Share", you will get a prompt as shown below to confirm the action. Click "Yes"
Note: Once you share a collection to the chat, using the above steps its stops any automation that the customer might be currently interacting with and instead, starts a new automation to help the customer select and purchase the products previously added to the collection you just shared.
Imp: The products details, cards and buttons are shown same in the live chat as it would appear to the customer. However you or any other team member who's able to view this conversation will not be able to click the buttons shown in the chat thread.
Tip: If you want to just share images of products available in the collection and not initiate the self-purchase automation for the products in the collection then you can simply upload and attach the image by clicking the attach icon at the bottom of the compose message bar.
