Adding a custom domain will help you use your own domain name for your jumper store. So, if you have www.mydomain.com, following the steps below will allow you to map that to yourshop.jumper.ai.
Once you're logged in to your jumper dashboard, head over to Sales channel > Web > Setup your domain as shown below.
A.Root Domain Linking
Step 1. To map a root domain to your store select "No". Once done, enter the domain name that you wish to map (e.g., www.mydomain.com) and hit next.
Step 2. On clicking next, you will see a set of instructions that you need to follow in the settings/administrator panel with your domain provider (e.g., GoDaddy). In the control panel of your domain provider, head over to DNS section, and follow the instructions below:
i) Add a TXT record to your DNS.
ii) Type: TXT
iii) Host / Name / Alias: Blank or @
iv) Value: Copy the value from the box below. It starts with google-site-verification
v) TTL: 3600 seconds (1 hour)
Step 3: Follow the similar steps, to add A records
i)Type: A
ii) Host / Name / Alias: Blank or @
iii) Value: Copy the IP address below (add four records one by one)
iv) TTL: 3600 seconds (1 hour)
Step 4: Once done, hit 'verify domain setup' to ensure that the domain verification is done.
Note: It takes approximately 24 hours for the changes to flush out worldwide. The following screen would be shown once 'verify domain setup is hit. The status will change to green and verified once it's properly linked.
In case, you would like to view the domain linking steps again, hit 'check instructions and verify' button.
Note: To delete the domain name linked to shop, hit 'disconnect' as shown at the bottom of the screen.
B.Sub-domain linking
Step 1: If you're mapping a subdomain to your store (e.g., shop.mydomain.com instead of www.mydomain.com), select "Yes" for "Do you want to use a subdomain?".
Step 2. On clicking next, you will see a set of instructions that you need to follow in the settings/administrator panel with your domain provider (e.g., GoDaddy). In the control panel of your domain provider, head over to DNS section, and follow the instructions below:
i) Add a TXT record to your DNS.
ii) Type: TXT
iii) Host / Name / Alias: Blank or @
iv) Value: Copy the value from the box below. It starts with google-site-verification
v) TTL: 3600 seconds (1 hour)
Step 3. Follow the similar steps, to add CNAME records
i) Type: C
ii) Host / Name / Alias: sub domain name (shop, if sub domain name is shop)
iii) Points to: jump.jumper.ai
IMP: If you're linking a sub-domain, do not add A record values. Instead, add a CNAME record.
Step 4: Once done, hit 'verify domain setup' to ensure that the domain verification is done.

C. SSL Integration
If you have an SSL certificate, you can integrate SSL certificate for your domain. Once you have verified your domain you can find the SSL certificate settings under Sales channel > Web > Setup your domain > 'SSL certificate'
Note: SSL integration can only be performed once your domain has been linked and verified
